KY-3497 Overlook is located just off KY-3497, less than one mile from Rockcastle Campground in Laurel County, Kentucky. If you are driving from the campground, watch for a railing and small gravel pull-off on your left. A short, but steep flight of stairs leads down to the overlook.
I do not know if it has an official name, so I just name it after the road.
This is one of the most easily accessible overlooks because you can drive to it. It provides a stunning view of the campground and the Rockcastle River. You can also see all three overlooks on Scuttle Hole Overlook Trail #404 on the adjacent bluff.
